Car Vlog #7: 22 Corolla AR-25 Resonator Install
We're back for a third week in a row with a new part to install! Today we're installing the Aero Exhaust AR-25 Resonator on the corolla. This is to essentially undo the Resonator delete I did a couple months ago to get rid of major raspy noises coming from the Exhaust. Huge shoutout to homie Chris for helping me out. I didn't delete the rev limiter lol. Not once in any of my videos I stated I deleted the rev limiter 💀
@@rosscustom sorry I just thought that’s what was making to popping sound on the top end of the revs
@@mr.m5979 no sir thats just me making it do that. You just gotta slightly tap the gas pedal when the RPM's are coming down and if you have an aftermarket exhaust it should pop
@@rosscustom I’m not sure if you’ve looked at getting another upgrade for the build yet, but a throttle body spacer might be something to look into, I ordered one for my Corolla to see what it does
@@mr.m5979 Throttle Body Spacers just allows for more airflow for a little more hp
what is the wing you have on it before the CF? looks like a stock SE wing with an extension but where did you get it?

looks great! i also used self tapping screws and drilled through the original holes inside the trunk into the spoiler for better support
To be fair, this doing this method in the video is effective, and also doesn't potentially ruin the carbon fiber

Nice setup! I have a 2020 Corolla se same color. I installed my K&N short ram intake back in October 2023. Just followed the instructions. No CEL till this day. Sounds beautiful when the engine is warmed up. If your looking to get a K&N intake, i highly recommend it. Sounds nice with borla exhaust
To be honest the corolla apex is the best sounding exhaust
To be honest, that's an L take. The Apex might have a nice stock exhaust, but it's only slightly deeper than the other trim Corolla's 💀
Do you feel like it pulls a little more cause of the cold air intake?
its not a cold air intake. thats a ram air. cold air is routed away from the engine bay to actually get colder air. i put that same one on my 22 corolla see 6 speed manual and it definitely had a noticeable different in low end torque
how did you do the hood vents? i have a hatchback i want vents so bad but scared of the rain. i love this car :) subbed
